Why ROOT?? Part 2

So I started the series named Why ROOT , for android users concerned why should they root their android phone.
If you haven`t already read the first part in this series then head over to the following link , Why ROOT?? Part 1

If you have read the first part then you should know that we are talking about apps here , So the next roort only app worth checking out is ,

Titanium backup :-

So , what say you suddenly had your phone all screwed up , and the only option you are left with is to factory data reset your phone or to install a custom ROM ( this is also one of the benefits of rooting , if you want to read about custom roms then stay tuned with our blog ) .

But you don`t want to factory data reset your phone because all of your favourite apps ,which you spent a fortune on buying or downloading are all gone in a glimpse . But what is even tragic then this is the fact that you will lose all of your data , your account synced , now they`re gone, you had a million contacts , well now you don`t . Every new message is an unknown number . Sure you can ask each and every friend of yours to send their number again , and that will surely take only about a million years , but who cares ,,, RIGHT ???

Well , definitely no . So , to overcome this problem there is an app called titanium backup . The beauty of this app is that it not only backs up the apks of your apps but also their data onto your sd card. So now how cool is that , ( hint : very cool )

Follow the following steps to backup your apps to sd card:

  1. Download titanium backup app from play store , Play link
  2. Open the app and grant root rights
  3. The front page of the app will be showing you what you can do with the app , as well as ROM data , internal memory etc
  4. Click on the page with the tick button on the right top most corner and the following page will appear.
  1. Click on backup all apps + user data
  2. wait for a minute or two and you`re done.
  3. If you have installed a newer version of the app then installed , then again go to the same options and click on backup newer version of apps.

Thats it guys , stay tuned for more root only apps.
