Not recently launched but one of the best budget phones in Pakistan is the Sony Xperia U. Price only 17,600pkr and featuring a lot of features , this smart phone is surely a phone worth buying. The main features of this phone are as follows
Size and Display:-
This smartphone has a 3.5-inch led backlit lcd capacitive touch screen. It has 16M colors , 280 ppi pixel density , 4 finger multitouch , scratch resistant glass , Sony mobile bravia engine and Timescape UI. It also has 480 x 854 pixels.
Its dimensions are 112 x 54 x12 mm.Not very slim but very attractive although.Its weight is 110g and has touch sensitive controls.
Processor and memory:-
It has Dual core 1 GHZ Cortex A9 processor.
Its internal memory is 8 GB out of which only 4 GB is user friendly. It has no card slot for SD card.It also has 512 MB RAM.
OS and Connectivity:-
This phone works on Android v 2.3 ( Ginger Bread ) which is planned upgrade to v 4.0 ( ice cream sandwich ).
For connectivity it has Bluetooth v 2.1 with A2DP , WLAN ( Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , DLNA , Wi-Fi direct, Wi-Fi hotspot ) , GPRS , EDGE , EDR , USB and 3G
Camera and Battery:-
It has an auto focus 5 MP rear camera which also has LED flash.And can record video up to 720p.It as a vga front camera and also it has face and smile detection , geo tagging , panorama and image stabilization.
It has normal battery time which is 6h 36m on talk time and 260 h on stand by.
