Apple Iphone 5 VS Nokia Lumia 920

                       APPLE VS NOKIA

Finally, the great apple has launched its new smart phone which we all have been waiting for, Yes I mean the new IPhone 5.Larger screen , New OS and much more.... . But the question is how does it stand in the race of new smartphones.Can it compete with the other smartphones of its type?? Does it have the capability to outsmart others with its new OS?? Answers to all these questions will be given in this blog.

Yesterday I was surfing the net and I came across a new forthcoming nokia mobile known as NOKIA LUMIA 920.It seemed to be a wonderful phone and today i will compare Apple iphone 5 and NOKIA lumia 920.

Size and Dimensions  :-

Apple Iphone 5 has a 4-inch capacitive touch screen with 326ppi. It is 7.6mm thick and has a weight of 112gm only.Surely a great effort by apple. But on other side Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch touch capacitive screen with 332ppi. it is 10.7mm thick and has a weight of 185g.

      Decision : Draw

Processor and Battery :-

iphone has a Apple A6 processor whose clock speed is not confirmed yet. While nokia Lumia 920 has a 1.5GHZ dual core snapdragon processor.

Battery power of iphone is not available but 8h on 3g is promised.battery power of lumia is 2000amh and can carry on 10h on 3g.

Decision : LUMIA WINS

Storage and Memory:-

Iphone comes in 16, 32 or 64 GB internal memory with no slot for micro sd card. Lumia comes in 32GB internal memory only adn has a ram of 1 GB and no slot for micro sd card.

Decision: APPLE WINS

Camera:-

Apple has a 8MP rear camera and a 1.2 mp front camera. rear camera can shot video of 1080p with 30fps. front camera can shot video upto 720p.

Lumia has a 8.7 mp rear camera and a 1.3 mp front camera. rear camera can shot a video of 1080p with 30fps.front camera can shot video of 720p.

Decision: LUMIA WINS

Connectivity:-

network in both apple and nokia is 4g lite. both have 802.11 a/b/g/n wifi , apple has a 4.0 bluetooth version while lumia has a 3.1 bluetooth version.Lumia has NFC while apple does not possess it.

Decision: LUMIA WINS

FINAL DECISION :-

NOKIA LUMIA surely is a winner. It is a little better than Apple iphone 5. But we dont have the price tag of lumia yet . I am sure it will not be able to alter my decision.
